Dense cherries were put in a in sealed, oxygen-free tanks for 72 hours, allowing unique acids and flavors to develop. Post fermentation & depulping, he beans are washed clean before drying for 18 days, creating a cup with fermented complexity but cleaner acidity

Salawara Estate Est - 1880’s by the Britishers Located- Belur, Hassan, Karnataka Altitude- 3450 ft Area- 360 acres Planter - Y N KRISHNA KUMAR Run by- Sharan yk (Third generation coffee planter ) Immersed in fertile and lush nature, and spread over 145 hectares of land, our coffee plantation is located on the foot hills of the Western Ghats, near Sakleshpur and Belur regions in Karnataka. ‘Salawara’ literally means string of blessings. Salawara estate was established by the Britishers in the late 1880’s. The coffee crop from salawara estate is shade grown and inter-cropped with pepper, areca nut, oranges and silver oak trees which brings in the perfect balance of richness and heritage. Surrounded by five man made lakes, Salawara estate practices sustainable irrigation which in helps bring in rich flora and fauna which interacts beneath the earth, providing intense depth and flavor to the coffee bean. The estate has been with the YDN groups since three generations.
